Little Woollie Makes Yarn Store

The Yarny Love Advent Calendar is back for 2024!
This is a 4ply advent calendar for 2024, containing 24 mini parcels to be opened over the days of December ( or whenever you like!) and a full sized skein for Christmas. They will be a curated collection of colours, perfect for 4ply projects that need lots of gorgeous colours, such as scrappy blankets, or one of the many patterns available for advent sets, and is a great way to sample the colour range. There will be a total of approx 580g of wool in this Advent calendar.

This Advent box will contain 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn in a variety of colours from different dyers that are stocked in the shop such as Spun Right Round, Hedgehog Fibre, Qing Fibre, LITLG, Skein, Maximoo Yarns, Twisted Ambitions Yarn, Circus Tonic Handmade, and others. The dyers chosen for each advent will vary as some dyers suit certain colour palettes better than others.

What you will receive:
-A box with 24 different coloured, individually wrapped approx 20g mini balls of 4ply/fingering weight yarn, each mini ball is wound and ready to use, numbered 1-24, and inside the parcel it is labelled with the dyer and colour name.
-1 × 100g skein of hand dyed Little Woollie Makes 4ply/fingering weight yarn for opening on Christmas Day. This will be a special one off colourway that I am dyeing just for these advent calendars.
I will also include some extra little surprises too. :)

The yarn colours will not be Christmas colours.
We will be offering 5 different colour palettes to choose from this year, we were trying to narrow it down to 3 but they were all evenly popular last year!
Merry and Bright: think clear, colourful shades, pretty speckles and bright colour pops, all the colours of the rainbow!
Moody and Earthy: think deep, moody speckles, rich semi solids, and natural, earthy, muted shades.
Grungy goodness: think dirty rainbows, colour pops and grungy brights, neon hits and greys.
Soft and Dreamy: think sorbet, chalky pastels, soft, light shades with pretty speckling for interest.
Vintage Rainbow: think cottagey colours, soft, faded patchwork and mid tone country rainbow shades, with pretty speckles and semi solids.

I will be sending out the boxes in early November to make sure they get to you with plenty of time before December.
There will be a limited number of Advent boxes available, postage is free within Australia.
