This 100% pure new wool is a great yarn, soft, beautifully warm and cosy, and has a lovely hand feel when being knitted or crocheted into something special. This yarn made by Heirloom in Australia, comes in many beautiful shades. (8ply is a DK equivalent )
I use these yarns in my crochet blankets and get fantastic results that will last the distance and become family heirlooms. I often combine Merino Magic with Colorworks yarn and Baby wool, as they are all the same weight at 8 ply, into my crochet blankets to create lovely colour schemes.
This wool is machine washable on the gentle cycle and has a recommended tension of 22sts per 10cm on 4.00mm needles. Approx 105 m per ball. 50g per ball.
