Little Woollie Makes Yarn Store

The Yarny Love Advent Calendar – 12 days of DK! contains 12 mini parcels to be opened over the 12 days of Christmas ( or whenever you like!) and a full sized skein for Christmas. They will be a collection of colours perfect for 8ply projects that need lots of gorgeous colours, and is a great way to sample the colour range of the indie dyers we stock at Little Woollie Makes. There will be a total of 520g of wool in this Advent calendar.

This Advent box will contain 8ply/DK weight 100% SW merino in gorgeous colours from indies dyers that we stock in the shop such as Litlg, Hedgehog Fibres, Spun Right Round, Skein, Twisted Ambitions Yarn, Circus Tonic Handmade Maximoo Yarns and others.

What you will receive:
-A box with 12 different coloured, individually wrapped approx 35g mini balls of DK/8ply yarn, each mini ball is numbered 1-12 and the parcel is labelled with the colour name.
-1 × 100g skein of hand dyed Little Woollie Makes DK/8ply yarn for opening on Christmas Day. This will be a special one off colourway that I am dyeing just for these advent calendars.
There will also be a few extra goodies for everyone too.

The yarn colours will not be Christmas colours.
There will be 4 different colour palettes to choose from for the DK/8ply boxes:
Merry and Bright: think clear, colourful shades, pretty speckles and bright colour pops, all the colours of the rainbow!
Moody and Earthy: think deep, moody speckles, rich semi solids, and natural, earthy, muted shades.
Grungy goodness: think dirty rainbows, colour pops and grungy brights, neon hits and greys.
Vintage Rainbow: think cottagey colours, soft, faded patchwork and mid tone country rainbow shades, with pretty speckles and semi solids.
The mood boards give an idea of how we are thinking about each palette.

I will be sending out the boxes in early November to make sure they get to you with plenty of time before December.
There will be a limited number of Advent boxes available, postage is free within Australia.
